SETUP AND TRAINING INSTRUCTIONS:
CAUTION: Carefully read, adjust and use your ContouReal device per the following instructions before use. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your medical practitioner regarding the purchase and use of ContouReal.
PROPER SET-UP AND ADJUSTMENTS:
Place device on a flat surface. Set adjustment according to chart above. Sit on the edge of upper thigh support, place your arms behind your back and hands on the floor for support, then gently lay down on your back centered on the device. You can also lay down next to the device and roll your back on the device.
Adjust the neck support so that the marking aligns with the center of ear and nose.
Adjust the upper thighs support so that the marking aligns with the center of leg socket.
Once the neck and thigh support are set, check the settings. Settings should be equal. The markings on the mid back support should be aligned between the Navel and the Diaphragm.
Because the legs are heavier than the weight of the lower back, it has the tendency to lift the lower back area. Place a 6” roller or a pillow under your ankles, bend your knees, or place your feet on a couch.
To dismount from the Device, carefully roll off and onto your stomach, using your arms for support. Relax, take your time to sit up on your knees, and then stand up fully. When you are ready, breathe deep, relax you.
To care for your Device, clean between use with mild soap and lukewarm water then towel dry. Put device away when not in use or use each piece as back rest on the couch.
You can attach 3/4 inch wide velcro (provided) to the tracks to further stabilize the adjustments.
(To use the device on a bed, cut a piece of 3/4” ply wood about 12” by 48”, round the edges for safety and fix the mid back support to the center of the board, using velcro or glue.)
